Planning a Legendary Brand Photoshoot

Your Brand Photos Shouldn’t Just Look Good. They Should Be a Representation of Who You Are.

Okay, let’s be real. Most brand photos out there look like they were all shot on the same day… by the same photographer… at the same studio… using the same props… with the same beige backdrop and fake-laughing-at-a-laptop energy.

Clean? Sure.
Professional? I suppose.
Memorable? Not even close.

I know you. You’ve got a kick-ass personality. A weird dimple when you smile from your soul. A little bit of a wild side.
Sooooo why do your photos look like everyone else’s?

If your photos aren’t a reflection of who you (really) are, they’re a performance.

And people can feel that.

You might look polished. But if you’re not clear on who you are — what makes you magnetic, different, iconic — then the most your photos are going to do is get you a few “Love this!!” comments from your college roommate.

Not clients.
Not credibility.
Definitely not cash.

Because photos that get dream clients to stop the scroll aren’t just pretty. They’re potent.
They’re full-body this is who I am and I’m not hiding it energy.

And you can’t fake that with a new blazer and a coffee cup.

Before you plan a shoot… you need to know who the hell you are.

And no, I don’t mean some “ideal client avatar” version of you.

I mean you.

🧨 The version of you who leads.
🧨 The version of you who owns the room.
🧨 The version of you who’s not performing, not people-pleasing, not tweaking her poses to look more likable.

When you’re clear on your vibe — not what’s trending, not what your coach did, not what the Pinterest girlies are doing — that’s when your photos start working for you.

Not just visually… but energetically.

Here’s what I do with my clients BEFORE we ever pick an outfit or chat with a photographer:

We get clear on:

Your energy. Are you soft and grounded? Spicy and bold? Trash glam and wild in the best way? What do people feel in your presence?

Your expression. What makes you unforgettable? What’s the edge you’ve been muting in the name of being “professional”? Let’s bring that out and build everything around it.

Your visuals. Not “what’s aesthetic?” but “what’s you?” What’s the vibe that makes people stop the scroll and go: Wait… who is she??

And when we’ve got that?

Then and only then do we start planning the shoot.

Because the best photos don’t come from good lighting.
They come from clarity, conviction, and zero pretending.

Moral of the story…

Your next shoot doesn’t need to be more aesthetically pleasing.
It needs to be more you.

So before you waste another $1,500 on photos that look good but do nothing for your brand…

Ask yourself:

✨ Do I actually know who I am and how I want to be seen?
✨ Am I planning this shoot around my identity — or someone else’s aesthetic?
✨ Am I willing to stop performing and start showing up as the real me?

If that hit?
You’re ready.

And I’d love to help you map it all out — from energy to visuals to execution — so you walk away with photos that don’t just “look good”… they do the damn job.

💥 DM me “PHOTOSHOOT” on Instagram or inquire about a Brand Intensive right here. This is the exact process I walk clients through before they ever step in front of the camera — and it changes everything.

Let’s make your next shoot unmistakably you.
